Optional Service: Modernize Logo
If your logo is an “illustration”, we can convert that old, blurry logo that’s very large and slowing down your website, into a vector-based file that’s much smaller and looks amazing. Vector (or XML-based) images are a great way to display your logo in any size with crisp clean lines, and make a smaller size for faster website performance.
Below is a logo conversion we did for a client, SkyhawkChemicals.com.

Service Descriptions
Each section of this service identifies and tunes various pain-points for website performance. These services are dedicated to code and software-related performance killers. Other performance issues may also be detected, such as slow server response, domain DNS misconfigurations, or external resources that are loading slowly (such as 3rd party javascript, Google Fonts, or data feeds). As we detect these issues, we will provide you a report with options for repairing those issues.
Full Server Backup
Before making any changes to your website, we will take a full WordPress backup to ensure we can roll back any changes if an unexpected issue arrises. We will make this backup available to you at your request.
WP Security Updates
After we make a Full Backup, we will update your WordPress to the latest version. This will help protect you from any security issues, as well as make sure your WordPress is on the most reliable version. Please let us know if your developer made changes to the WordPress core files.
Browser Caching
We will write code into your website that quietly instructs the visitor’s browser to “cache” or store some frequently used files on their computer. This way, they will not have to wait for all the files to download again as they browse various website pages.
Browser Expire Headers
We will write code into your website to tell the browser how long to cache data, improving browser caching performance on frequently accessed files (such as files related to your home page).
HTML/CSS/JS Compression
The server can “compress” certain file types prior to transporting over the internet. This significantly improves the speed a file can move from your server to your visitor’s computer.
GZIP Compression
An additional method for compressing certain file types. The compression method uses software to reduce the file size so they can be transferred quickly over the internet.
Resize Photos
WordPress automatically resizes some images, such as thumbnails. However, some pages will display the “full size” images. With today’s modern cameras, cell phones, and images in stock photography websites, an original file size can be extremely large, much larger than needed to display on a web page. We download all of your images and make sure they are not excessively large. Additionally, we run all JPG files through file compression software so the image maintains the same visual quality, but is a much smaller (compressed) file size.
Convert Photos to WebP
WebP is a new image file format, similar to PNG and JPG, but with a much smaller file size. We will convert all of yoru existing large PNG and JPG files into WebP. Then we will install software on your WordPress site that will automatically serve WebP format files rather than PNG or JPG files in the future.
Code Minification
Your website code has lots of “empty” space, comments and new line hidden characters. Removing all this unneeded code “fluff” will reduce your file size, allowing them to compress even smaller and transfer over the internet faster!
Database Optimization
The WordPress database can fill with a lot of unneeded date, such as old versions of web pages, unneeded option data, and old cache data. Unfortunately when WordPress needs to retrieve data with each page load, it has to weed through all of these unneeded records to get to what it needs. This causes your server to work harder and deliver data slower. We have an optimization routine that will run on your WordPress database periodically to remove these unneeded records.
Update PHP to the Fastest Version
Sometimes older websites may not have their server updated to the latest version of PHP. And there are optimized versions of PHP. We will make sure your PHP is updated to the latest version. *Some plugins may not be able to run the latest version of PHP, especially if they are old plugins with no recent updates. If this is the case, we will help you decide if you want to upgrade PHP and remove the old plugin or not.
Instal CloudFlare CDN
CDN (Content Delivery Network) is a technology that allows a website to deliver files to a visiter from a web server in the closest geographic location possible. These delivery networks are highly optimized for website file delivery, making your website load up extremely quickly. If your web hosting company allows you to use CloudFlare, we will make those changes for you. *This change will require changes to your domain’s DNS settings. We will request access to make domain name changes from your registrar.
